I have LOVED some of this fall weather lately! We have had some gorgeous days. It makes working outside painting even more enjoyable And we MIGHT have seen the last few mosquitos….
This week, I finished up some custom work. A HUGE 6 foot mirror, and some other smaller pieces. Also, I just finished a shabby chic dining table, that I am adding to the “currently for sale page”…..
It has a soft neutral color that is a very pale gray-ish blue and added glaze for some character, as well as some distressing. It has dark walnut stain on top. It can be used in an eat-in kitchen or small dining room as a round table, or add the leaf for a longer table and more seating.
For fun, here is some round table decorating inspiration…
(Please note: I can’t find the source on this picture, but if you know its origin, let me know so I can credit it).
While working on this piece outside, I had a visitor…..
He sat and watched the entire time I did this table. And when I had my tools out distressing, he kept batting at me trying to play. Such a cutie! I think he might be a kitten. Of course my 2-year-old saw him and wanted to keep him, but that’s not happening. He must be our neighbor’s new pet.
I am working on a gorgeous, tall, detailed headboard right now that hopefully will get finished and posted soon, so stay tuned. Until then, enjoy the rest of your week and fall weather!
